Donald J. Cinotti, M.D. is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at Hudson Eye Physicians & Surgeons in Jersey City & Millburn NJ. Dr. Cinotti earned his medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Cinotti serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science, is affiliated with the Jersey City Medical Center and is the Director of their Eye Trauma Division.
At Hudson Eye Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Cinotti sees patients in need of routine as well as complex medical and laser eye care and provides eye exams for cataracts, as well as eye exams for retinal disease, such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration (AMD), diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and regular eye health and comprehensive ophthalmology needs.
Giving back to the ophthalmologic & medical communities is a priority for Dr. Cinotti, and he continues his participation in the field both locally & abroad. He has made many voluntary trips to developing countries to provide eye surgery for children. Dr. Cinotti has been active in the politics of medicine throughout his career serving on numerous boards and committees. He is the past President of the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology, Hudson County Medical Society and Medical Society of New Jersey as well as having served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Healing the Children and New Jersey Counselor to the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
Dr. Cinotti is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
