William H. Constad, M.D., is an ophthalmologist and partner at Hudson Eye Physicians & Surgeons, LLC, who has been with the practice since 1985. Dr. Constad completed his ophthalmology residency at UMDNJ (now Rutgers New Jersey Medical School) and then furthered his training by completing a fellowship in diseases and surgeries of the cornea with Dr. Jorge Buxton at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Constad was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1985.

Dr. Constad serves as Medical Director of Eversight New Jersey, the New Jersey eye bank, and has been on its Board of Trustees for over 10 years. He was honored by Eversight with its “Man of Vision” award in 2012, and received the Founder’s Award from the Eversight Board in 2014.
He served on the editorial board for the Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine for several years, and has contributed numerous articles and textbook chapters to the ophthalmic literature.
